Rada Cutlery Cook's Knife

Prepare meals like a pro!

The cook's knife and the chef's knife are not the same thing. The blade of the Cook's knife is curved more than the chef's knife to make chopping and mincing vegetables easier, along with a whole host of other kitchen tasks. Such as cutting large pieces of meat into thinner slices or cutting up whole chicken into pieces, but is also versatile enough to glide through an ice cream cake. It really is, in my opinion, the knife of kitchen knives. To think all this time, I just thought these were two names for the same knife.

The Cook's knife is larger than the Cook's Utility and smaller than the French Chef. Featuring a 6¼-inch blade, it's perfectly suited for serious cooking tasks, but also makes food prep fun.

  • 6¼ inch blade
  • Hand Sharpened blade is made from surgical steel
  • Rounded Tip
  • Brushed silver aluminum OR Black Resin handle
  • American-made knife

What is a Cook's knife used for?

Like most other knives cutting meat, vegetables and herbs. The flat side of this knife is wide enough to be ideal for crushing garlic.

What is the difference between a Cook's knife and a Chef's knife?

A Cook's knife has a curved blade that rounds a little at the end. The Chef's knife is a strait blade that tapers to a point.

    Should you oil kitchen knives?

Yes, oiling your knives will keep away rust and corrosion; any food-grade oil will work. Just remember that your knife has to be completely dry before oiling.

    Great sharp knife

Hands down sharpest knife I’ve owned . Great value too ! It’s a bit flimsy but that’s to be expected with a smaller blade . Just dont expect this thing to cut through bones or cartilage.

    Best knives ever!

You cannot go wrong buying any Rada knife. They are absolutely the best knives ever! Was gifted my first one 30 years ago by my mother. Still have it and have purchased many others for gifts and added to my own collection.

    Best knives made

I have been cooking for 50 years and have owned cheap to top of the line Wusthof-Henkel-Japanese-ceramic and Victorinox. The Rada are by for my favorite with the Victorinox second. Buy the Rada sharpener as well. So easy and works great,
